Chemical Engineering
Hello!
Here, in the METU NCC Chemical Engineering program, we learn how to design and manage large-scale production processes by combining knowledge from chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics. In other words, we focus on how to produce products developed in small quantities in laboratories, safely, economically, and environmentally responsibly in factories.
We learn about process design, production management, quality control, and environmental safety both theoretically and practically. The program offers the opportunity to specialize in two different areas: Resource Engineering and Chemical Product Engineering, allowing us to choose the field that suits us best.
Throughout the education, we not only develop technical skills but also gain awareness of ethics, environmental responsibility, and the habit of lifelong learning. After graduation, we can find jobs in a wide range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, energy, food, petrochemicals, paints, cosmetics, cement, and plastics.
If you want to learn not just the formula of a product, but also how to produce it, how to develop it, and how to make it sustainable, we would love to have you join us!
