Civil Engineering

Here, in the METU NCC Civil Engineering program, we are trained with a strong technical foundation. We take both theoretical and practical courses in a variety of fields, from structural mechanics to geotechnics, from water structures to transportation. The education we receive not only involves calculations but also developing projects that provide solutions to real-world problems.

We have direct communication with our professors, and thanks to project-based courses, we have the opportunity to put what we learn into practice. Since some professors from METU Ankara also teach in the program, we have a very dynamic learning environment.

After graduation, we are equipped to participate in various projects, whether in the public or private sector, in Turkey or abroad. There are also great opportunities for those interested in pursuing an academic career abroad.
